This lanyard kit is supposed to have 165lbs of cord tensile strength and thus be a good substitute to the usual 550 paracord with the benefits of handling the day-to-day equipment that military personnel and common people use. Personally, I love the look when it neatly goes back to that twisted telephone cord look. It will have a lower chance of latching onto something.
